The breakfast featured local organic treats, especially the scrumptious scrambled eggs.
Unfortunately, my stay was marred by noise issues. The distant sounds of cowbells were louder than I anticipated and disrupted my sleep. I feel the soundproofing should be improved to provide a more peaceful environment for guests, as I expected a quieter retreat.

charming Swiss decor, spectacular views, great hiking trails
The soundproofing in the rooms could use serious enhancement for uninterrupted sleep!!! Also, be prepared to navigate the village in the dark as the lighting leaves much to be desired at night.

We explored two amazing hiking trails totaling over 1 kilometers, soaking in the beautiful scenery. The owner was very helpful, even arranging a pickup from the train station. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was abundant and healthy. Highly recommend staying here for a quiet escape while enjoying local attractions.
One night, we were unexpectedly woken up by the distant sounds of cowbells, which some might find charming but was a bit disruptive for us.

The Standard Double Room was super clean and comfy. We really loved the charming Swiss decor. The bed was cozy, which made for great sleep after a day of exploring. The only hiccup was the sounds from the cowbells outside, which some nights felt a bit loud. But overall, it added to the charm of the place!
